On Tuesday, 3rd March, Sports Captains, Student Representative Council members (SRCs) and School Captains attended the GRIP Leadership Conference at Quay Centre, Sydney Olympic Park alongside other student leaders from all over Sydney.
The Leadership conference had three main sessions that discussed what being a leader means and how we can be effective student leaders when we go back to our respective schools. The day was an opportunity for us to meet other student leaders and learn from them as well!
One workshop showcased several practical ideas that students have implemented at their schools. These stories truly inspired us to think of what we can do this year for our fellow students at St John Vianney’s Parish School.
Everybody had a great time at the GRIP Leadership Conference not only because we made new friends from other schools but more importantly, we got to bring home good ideas to become great leaders of SJV!
