On Monday the 21st October 55 students from Yrs 3/4 participated in the Woolworths T/20 School Cup Blast at Kareela Reserve. We were blessed with fabulous weather, excellent sportsmanship and four action packed games of cricket.
All of these students were able to bat, bowl, field and wicket keep in each game. It was also wonderful to hear the cheering and clapping of the parents who were able to join us throughout the day as the students took catches, hit 4's and 6's, or fielded a ball quickly and confidently.
This wonderful day would not have been possible without the help of Miss D'sa, Mr Shafig, Ms Scott, Mrs Azzopardi, Mrs Ciappara, Clare Ciappara's grandfather, Mr lsakov, Mrs Franjic and Mrs Cutajar. Miss D'sa and all of these parents kindly spent their day supervising a team and encouraging the students to enjoy this fun filled day. So on behalf of the students and myself thank you so much parents and grandparents for being so generous and sharing this day with our students.
