In preparation for National Science Week (10-18 August), Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL) Primary in Seven Hills is urgently seeking professionals with a science background to coach teachers and students by helping them turn an idea into a testable question that can be investigated by a science experiment, as part of the school’s MyScience program.

If you have experience and scientific knowledge you could be a MyScience mentor to lead the next generation of scientists and engineers.

All you need is the passion to inspire and eight hours to spare over a six-week period.

‘The MyScience program has proven so successful in the last two years that it has doubled in size,’ said MyScience coordinator, Sally Biskupic. ‘We are seeking more mentors with a passion to inspire young inquisitive minds into the captivating world of science.’

Science Mentors required beginning as soon as Wednesday evening, 7 August. For more information and to be a MyScience mentor at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary, contact:
